Chèlle

Chèlle is an R&B / pop singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. Inspired by her grandfather, an Italian immigrant and accomplished multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performer, she developed a deep love for music early in her life. Heavily influenced by artists like Tori Kelly and Bruno Mars, Chèlle’s music blends her very personal lyrics with catchy melodies and modern R&B and Pop production. Early performances at venues across Toronto helped her build confidence as a performer, while her self-taught production skills allowed her to create and record demos from her bedroom. Michelle is no stranger to the YouTube community either, having gained over 2,000,000 total views on her channel.

In 2020, Michelle rebranded herself as “Chèlle” with her single, “Don’t Need You”. In January 2021, Chèlle released her sophomore single, “Hallucinating You”, which gained over 10,000 streams across all music platforms. Michelle has since co-written with Anthony Yordanov (Nelly Furtado) and Sawan K (Luna Elle), and earned her first major cut through a collaboration with J-Pop star Koichi Domoto on his single “More & More.” The album sold over 60,000 physical copies on its first day of release and debuted at #1 on the Japanese charts.

Along with her singing career, Chèlle has gone on to star in multiple TV commercials, as well as landing roles in films such as “Remember Me, Mommy?”, and OWN’s “A Christmas Serenade” as well as being featured in a commercial with Nelly Furtato for the 2024 Juno Awards.

In 2024, Chèlle signed with CYMBA Music Publishing, marking an exciting milestone in her career. Her most recent single, “Want Me Back,” showcases her love for old school Pop/R&B, paying homage to iconic groups like Destiny’s Child and TLC. Chèlle continues to release her own music, and has discovered her new-found love for toplining and collaborating with producers and songwriters across the world.
