Darcy Scott is an award-winning Indie-Folk songsmith from Newfoundland and Labrador. He has been performing across Atlantic Canada and Ontario, sharing stages with artists such as Alan Doyle and Kellie Loder.

In 2019, Darcy won the Newfound Talent Contest with his original song “Hold On”. Building on that early success, his follow-up singles, “Canadian Folk Singer” (2020), “1000 Words” (2021), and “Wasted Spaces” (2023), reached the CBC Searchlight Top 100, gaining national attention.

His debut EP Wasted Spaces showcases a blend of honest and heartfelt songs that stay with you long after the last chord. This release would go on to win Darcy the Music NL award for Folk/Roots Artist Of The Year (2023). That same year he was also handpicked as 1 of 10 artists to attend the Lunenburg Folk Festival Songwriters Retreat, where he collaborated with acclaimed JUNO Award winners David Myles and Catherine MacLellan.

In 2024, he signed with CYMBA Music Publishing and has been writing with artists around the world. Darcy is currently working on his first full-length album, which is set for release in 2026.
