Little Cities

LITTLE CITIES is a proper name for a band from the Canadian Maritimes.

With modest stomping grounds rooted in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and the gun still smoking from releasing their most recent, self-titled EP ‘Little Cities’, they’ve set their sights on bringing their shiny, steadfast, soaked-in-synth pop-punk collective nationwide.

Think early Blink-182 and Seaway, meets MxPx and Fall Out Boy: unrelenting energy coupled with thoughtful musicianship and boyish charm.

The band first brought their fresh brand of pop-punk to the world in 2018 with their single ‘First Impressions.’ Since that first single they have released two EP’s and several singles. Their music video for the song ‘Roots’ from the new EP was recently featured in Atlantic Canadian magazine ‘The East.’ In their review of the ‘Little Cities’ EP, ‘Essentially Pop’ praised the band for their ability to stay true to their influences while fusing it together to create something uniquely their own. Little Cities has also been nominated for Music PEI 2021 Awards ‘Rock Recording of the Year,’ and ‘Group of the Year.’

Fun, tasty, top-shelf players, Mat Hannah (lead vocals/ guitars), Mitch Gallant (vocals/guitars), Josh Pitre (synth/ backing vocals), Ryan P. Gallant (drums) and Mike Hannah (bass) keep it tight, dynamic, and full.

Little Cities breathes life into a dormant brand of punk music... and they’re doing it under the radar, with unapologetic focus and vision.
