Sally Shaar
Sally Shaar is a Juno-winning Syrian-Canadian vocalist, songwriter, producer, director, and music marketing specialist based in Toronto. As a founding member of the alternative rock band MONOWHALES and label TRUE RECORDS, she has been a key creative force behind numerous recordings, music videos, and marketing campaigns for both established and emerging artists. Her innovative approach to music and performance helped position MONOWHALES as one of Canada’s most dynamic and exciting bands.
Since MONOWHALES disbanded in April 2024, Sally has continued to produce, write and record with international and rising talents such as David Archuleta (American Idol), OBGMs, Alice Animal (Cashemire), Frankie Flowers, Sebastian Gaskin, Housewife, and David Ritter (The Strumbellas). Sally is passionate about consulting, mentoring and empowering disadvantaged and underrepresented groups as she continues to evolve as a respected creator and artistic leader.
